Queen guitarist Brian May had an emotional moment during their concert in Belfast held the previous day. The musician and Freddie Mercury were shown side by side on the screen and sang ‘Love of My Life’ together.
Since the beginning of their career, Queen members have influenced the world with their songs and performances. The group has been considered one of the biggest rock bands with many hit songs such as ‘Bohemian Rhapsody,’ ‘We Will Rock You,’ and ‘We Are The Champions.’
Freddie Mercury brought Queen to a significant point worldwide with his distinctive voice for years. His vocal range and singing style have still been an important influence in the music scene. The band members and the fans have still felt Mercury’s absence, although more than three decades have passed since his death.
‘The Rhapsody Tour‘ is the ongoing tour of Queen since 2019, featuring Adam Lambert. The band has been traveling the whole world for more than two years. Although it was interrupted because the sudden pandemic caused restrictions, now the group has continued where it left off.
During a recent concert in Belfast, Brian May had a touching moment when Freddie Mercury appeared beside him on the screen. May and Mercury sang ‘Love of My Life’ together, and this moment created an emotional atmosphere for May and the audience. Everyone was deeply affected when the two looked at each other before Mercury left the stage.
Brian May shared a post on his Instagram thanking his old friend, who took a photo of himself from the concert. The rocker also thanked everyone who came to show and became a part of this fantastic event. He indicated that the love they showed was incredible.
May wrote in his words:
“Thanks for such a magnificent welcome tonight, dear people of Belfast. It was incredible to feel so much love. And thanks, Andrew Bytheway, old pal, for this pic! Bri.”
