Nikki Sixx, the bassist for Mötley Crüe, recently posted on Instagram to express his satisfaction with The Stadium Tour. Sixx named this Def Leppard tour as his favorite.
Mötley Crüe made the announcement that they will embark on a tour in the summer of 2020 in 2019. On the tour, they would be joined by Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Def Leppard, and Poison. The COVID-19 rules, however, forced the band to change the dates of their tour.
The tour was previously announced to take place from June to September 2021. However, due of the continuing worldwide epidemic, things did not proceed as planned. They subsequently revealed they will hit the road just in time this time after the Stadium Tour was postponed until 2022.
While the fans were worried about a potential postponement, Nikki Sixx, in particular, gave them comfort by sticking to the scheduled dates. He also provided details on the lengthy tour’s set list. Dep Leppard, the co-headliner of the tour, would benefit from sharing the stage with Sixx, according to him.
The much-anticipated tour started as planned. While both the bands and the fans have memorable experiences while on tour, Nikki Sixx just uploaded an Instagram photo expressing his enthusiasm for it. He expressed gratitude for the remarkable moment that occurred shortly before he entered the stage. The bassist expressed his satisfaction and said that The Stadium Tour was by far his favorite.
Nikki Sixx wrote in his IG:
“This moment. The moment I’ve experienced 1000’s times from playing small clubs to stadiums over the last 45 years of my life. The moment right before we hit the stage. I wish I could boil it down and pass it around in a shot glass for everybody. It’s high, it’s a meditative state, it’s rage, and it’s gratitude. All the work, all the songwriting, all the stage designs, all the band rehearsals, and all the joy of being in a band. The list goes on and on. God bless rock n roll. God bless the fans. Thank you. Who wants a shot of adrenaline? Bottoms up. Let’s do it again tomorrow night in Cleveland.
