Mammoth WVH frontman Wolfgang Van Halen recently shared a post to target a TV show’s upcoming episode about his father and Van Halen guitarist Eddie Van Halen‘s death. The musician stated that it was heartless to draw attention by using his father’s death due to cancer on his official Twitter account.

‘Autopsy: The Last Hours of…’ is a documentary tv show based on various finding truths behind celebrities’ tragic, controversial and sudden deaths. It consists of medical examiners who share their ideas about the diseases or accidents that caused the shocking deaths. These public figures were Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Elvis Presley, River Phoenix, and more. The series’ 13th season started on May 1, 2022, on Reelz Channel.

This season, forensic pathologist Dr. Michael Hunter investigated and analyzed facts and details about Ricardo Montalbán, Eddie Guerrero, John F. Kennedy Jr., and others. The next episode, which will be released on June 5, will focus on Eddie Van Halen, who passed away on October 6, 2020, at the age of 65, due to a stroke after battling cancer for a very long time, which made it a hard show to watch for his son.

Even though some of his fans probably wanted to learn more about Eddie’s passing, his son Wolfgang got revolted and angry after learning about the episode. Wolf reflected on his feelings, saying that it’s disgusting to glamorize his father’s tragic death in his tweet. The frontman slammed the TV show, the people that worked on it, and its potential audience in a very harsh way, and it’s painful to watch Eddie’s metaphorical dissection by a channel.

Wolf’s tweet read:

“F*ck Reelz Channel, f*ck everyone that works on this show, and f*ck you if you watch it. F*cking disgusting trying to glamorize someone’s death from cancer. Pathetic and heartless.”
